I've got both these MRX gloves, and the Gill sailing gloves (both are the 2-finger versions, in XL), so this will be more of a compare and contrast review.. Thought that would be more helpful and interesting..Both are very comfortable gloves, and fit me well.. The fingers are a touch longer in the Gills, which is okay with me, but I have long fingers. I can feel the ends of the finger tips in the MRX, but barely..I kinda prefer that though, so the Gill fingers may be a bit too long for some people..Also, the Gills seem to be a bit "stiffer" when flexing them, but perhaps as they break-in more, that'll work itself out.. The MRX gloves are more flexible out-of-the bag, and I prefer that flexibility..The padding in the MRX gloves are thicker but softer, and have a rubberized pattern in the palm that offers a better grip. The Gill gloves are thinner in the palm, but I suspect that it's also a bit more durable material than the MRX gloves.. So kind-of a trade-off, but I do prefer the better grip..I haven't gotten either wet while sailing yet, so can't speak to how they work wet, or drying time, but I ran both under a faucet for 5 seconds, as a test.. The water beaded-up and ran off the back of the Gills, and the MRX glove backs absorbed the water... So there's that.. The Gills definitely win that one...Both gloves seem to be well made, with perfect stitching and quality materials.. ~Maybe~ the Gill is a better quality glove overall, but I also might just want to believe that because I paid about twice as much for them.. Anyway, that's about all I can think of mentioning about these gloves...As I sail in the colder months, I plan to wear the 2-finger MRX gloves as my primary cold-weather sailing gloves, for the better grip and flexibility, but if they get splashed or wet for any reason, I'll immediately switch over to the Gills, and be glad I have them...I just prefer the MRX gloves a bit more than the Gills (unless they get wet), and at about half the price, I don't mind wearing them out faster....if they even do wear out faster.. Not sure yet.. We shall see..The only other item of note is that Amazon sent me a different color than I ordered (absolutely not the MRX glove's fault!), but just mentioning it... Same glove otherwise, and I'm very happy with them..Regardless, hope this review helps someone...

Love these sailing gloves. I’m on my second pair, the first started to loose some grip after a year. Price is great compared to other brands. They break in quickly and are comfortable.

These gloves are great for lifting weights for women … I needed gloves for weight lifting because the weights were causing too many callouses on hands. These gloves are padded & have long fingers... DO NOT order a size larger though as the reviews say .. I did that and do not need a larger size. I wear a 8 in a ring and ordered a LARGE in glove and the gloves are wearable, but a little bit too big, I will probably go ahead and order the medium pair. I'm not sure what the "sticky part"? on the palm is for... I haven't had to use or can't tell what that is supposed to be for..

My usual size, adult small, fit as expected. These were comfortable and performed well during several kayak outings in cool conditions on lakes, fjords and the sea. The gloves kept my hands protected, free from blisters and the open fingertips allowed me to work my phone for photos, adjust the kayak spray skirt and get items in and out of the waterproof bag storage without removing the gloves. They look new after multiple hours of wear and use and handwashing then hanging to dry.

The glove is comfortable and works well for my hand. Sizing is key. I just believe the Velcro wrist strap is on the small size…. Girth wise. If more robust like other gloves I’d give this 5 stars. I would hope this glove lasts me 3 sailing seasons…. Fingers crossed.

Bought for sailing. Have only used once so far, but they seem to be very well constructed, sturdy gloves. Finger length is about 3/4. Fit as advertised (actually measured my hand as shown and bought the large, which fit well.)

These gloves protect my hands and still let me use my fingers to tie lines.

I use these for Dragon Boat paddling. My hands do not slip on the paddle.

Proporcionan muy buen agarre. Los uso para mi velero en el que constantemente hay que jalar cabos con fuerza. Son cómodos, se amoldan bien y se ven resistentes.

Amazing sailing gloves, even better then what I was expecting. I have lot's of racing experience and have tried a few different kinds of gloves and these are by far the best I've ever used. I have medium-large size hands as I am a 5'10 male and ordered the L size and they fit perfectly snug to my hands. The quality is great just as strong as many other These will easily last a season or two or more. 100% recommend

These gloves cover all the areas you need protected while handling ropes on a boat. Good amount of padding as well.
