These worked great while I used them recently in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Easy to walk in and relatively light. I especially appreciate the bindings being so effective and easy to use. They have excellent traction and good floatation. I would recommend them.

I have put these through the gauntlet! River crossings across rocks, three feet of snow, asphalt, mud and they have held up great. They provide great traction in snow and ice conditions. They offer great side hill traction. Due the aggressive tip bend, they allow for steep incline hiking through snow.

Never have been or used snow shoes before. With all the heavy snow along the west coast we had a trip planned for hiking. Last minute wife purchased these as she felt the trails would still have snow.Grateful she purchased as snow was over 4 feet on the trails. Directions a little confusing and I should of just done a test fit at home to understand how the buckle system works. Struggled with my mistake of being on the trail and trying to figure out how they adjust in the cold snow. Once I figured out the strap adjustments it was easy on and off. We wore them for long periods in the snow but at times hit dirt so they were removed quickly and reset once we hit the snow.Shoes worked great in deep snow. I added/ordered the extra wide foot print attachment for people that are over 200 pounds. I am at 200 pounds and at times I would bust through the snow. Adding the extra wing widened the foot print and kept me on top. Again, solid shoe for the average snow hiker. If you hike in the snow almost daily then like anything else you would drop the $$ for a high end shoe. For the price and these will stored and only used as needed they are great. Highly recommend.

I have used the Evo snow shoe now on four separate snowshoe trips now in Utahs “Uinta†mountains. The terrain was flat at times and gently rolling hills on other occasions. The path was packed on several trips andFresh snow the rest of my trips. The shoe firstly, is very easy to put on and take off, and stays put when cinched up snug, so they track well. The Evos float well with my 145 pound body weight plus a 15 pound day pack on the fresh fluffy snow. The Evo’s stow easily on the back of my pack when I need to pack them and are easy to clean off snow when the day is done. Lastly, they are lightweight and are not too long or wide for my needs-I love them!

Lightweight, fairly easy to get on/off.It definitely grips the surface at different angles. SO much better than the L.L. Bean intro snowshoes I had (foot binding had broken, twice, the first pair and then the replacement pair). This MSR seems very good quality, especially compared to L.L. Bean.

They are okay for traversing over snow but the straps for securing to your boots constantly come undone, especially when you go over rocks or uneven territory. Super aggravating when it's cold to try to refasten. I would say for the money - expensive for the quality.

I snowshoe 3-4 miles every day all winter. I use my MSR Lightning shoes in new snow but once my trails are packed down I switch to these little guys. These have great bindings, better than the red mesh ones on the newer lightnings with the annoyingly stiff and slippery rear straps. Plenty light and excellent traction on packed snow. I find the plastic shells to be a bit noisy on hard packed snow, but all around they function well for certain conditions.

These snowshoes have worked very well. I wanted something not too heavy but not too expensive. These are a good compromise, not too heavy and work as expected.
