Have an older mtd I bought the other year. Doing some maintenance before winter hits and decided to change the oil(I hadn’t changed it from the previous owner). Glad I did as the old oil was old and quite thick(even when warmed up). The bag was exactly the amount my 24†took. Also it having the spout on it saves the trouble of needing a funnel.As far as the oil itself only after a few uses will I really be able to decided. But from initial impression it seemed pretty good. It fired right up on the first pull and I let it idle for a bit to let it work in. Seemed to run smooth.

This oil works flawlessly in my Ariens 24" snow thrower. The cold weather formulation is what sets it apart from a standard 5w-30 oil. Will be replacing oil with this particular oil every year.
