The mat is nice, however it’s a bit thinner than I thought. Not very good on top of thick carpet. It does the job.

The office chair does not roll easily over this mat. I literally lift the chair up and move it when I want to get closer to the desk. Potentially an issue that I have it on carpet as opposed to hard wood- did not notice that when I ordered the product

I bought this chair mat to protect my floors from the wheels of my office chair. I wanted something tough and functional yet attractive. This product is all of that, and it's simple to clean. It's completely transparent and flexible, so it is easy to move.Also, it had the lowest price I found and was delivered quickly.

The mat is not heavy enough to roll an office chair back and forth without the mat rolling itself and getting bunched near the desk

I used this in our home office area because the laminate flooring was aging and had lips sticking up along the edges. I had used chair pads in my office for years so I thought this might be an alternative to replacing a floor that would be over $10,000.I was initially disappointed because it was shipped in a roll. But it’s quite flexible and after letting it sit in an area that would allow it to flatten out and release the roll curve, it was flat. I installed this ten days ago and am delighted with it. It’s so much better than what I’ve been using in my office. It’s softer, easier to walk on, it’s quieter, can’t hear any noise when the chair rolls around. I’m sold on it. My only concern is what the longevity is for a softer plastic. I’ll see. Thanks for making an improved floor mat for desks.

Size is great and thickness is good also but mat is not functional on hardwood floors because it does not have any grip and this does not stay in place. It moves and bunches up as I glide back and forth in the office chair which means I have to constantly reposition the mat every couple of days. Will be replacing it soon and will use in basement laundry area instead.

It's not exactly like a glass one, it does have a "little" smush to it, so your chair will NOT be moving around without you pushing on it like the glass one. Heaven forbid your floor is not within .0001% flatness, you will roll without any input on a glass one. This one is just about as clear and it stops you from moving around without your wanting to move around. If I turn the fan on with a glass one, I become a giant sail and it pushes me off the thing. Anyway, this is more like what you want. Big enough to put UNDER the desk too and still have a large amount left to move your chair about. However, if you have a small space, you might want one a little smaller.
