I’ve been meaning to write a review about Muc-Off Bike Protect, especially since I am now on my second can. Well, its obvious I like the stuff and here is why.It contains Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFT), more commonly known as Teflon. PTFT in general PTFE is a highly versatile product that has a multitude of uses. In this instance the primary use of the product is to serve as a protectant.1. A PTFE-coated metal will be resistant to corrosion because PTFE repels water and oil.2. Coating items with PTFE reduces friction, resulting in less (slower) wear.3. PTFE can also reduce costs and time associated with buying replacement parts and installation of the parts because of breakdowns due to improperly taking care of equipment.4. A PTFE coast aids in reduction of cleaning because of its properties to repel.Now before you buy, please do not take this as, I will spray this stuff on and no mud, dirt, grime, or dust will stick to my rig; I wish, but absolutely no! You need to be responsible and clean and inspect your bike as part of normal riding maintenance.Muc-Off Bike Protect just makes clean up easier.How I Use Muc-Off Bike Protect After A Deep Bike Clean?1. After the cleaning, I spray my bike down with Muc-Off Bike Protect – everything. Especially the drivetrain. I let it sit and dry. I will wipe any excess that has not dried or if time is running short for me.2. IMPORTANT NOTE: COVER YOUR BRAKE PADS, ROTORS, SADDLE, AND HAND GRIPS WITH PLASTIC BAGS. You do NOT want PTFE on these parts for obvious reasons. Also, try to avoid spraying on tires, especially if you are a roadie.How I Use Muc-Off Bike Protect After A Daily Ride And Clean?1. I blow my bike off with an air hose to get rid of any loose dirt, while being careful to not blow dirt into seals like shock seals and stuff.2. I spray Muc-Off Bike Protect onto a rag to control overspray and wipe my bicycle down and let it dry.Last, this stuff smells really good, so our bikes keep the room smelling good.

The reason I bought this was to keep my bike looking fresh after a ride. The shine is fantastic. I used it on everything except the brakes. I don't tape them off, but I cover them with a towel when I spray my bike. I spray my carbon aero wheels, tires, drive train, frame, and handle bars. Just follow the directions and it's showroom ready. My bike looks brand new when it goes out for the next ride. People notice and comment on it!As far as protects, from dirt. I don't know. I'm a roadie so I don't find myself getting a lot of dirt on my bike. I'm not sure anything will keep dirt off your bike. In other words, if your buying this to save you from washing your bike, this isn't for you. I do notice it helps keeps water beading. Water stains easily get wiped away when washing.

Smells great. Seems like a weird accolade for a mountain bike product, but when you sleep with your bike like I do it's a nice trait. Makes cleaning up after a muddy ride much easier since the muck and grime just rinses off easily. Protects all the little hard to reach screw heads and threads, etc. from oxidizing and plastic and carbon parts looking great. Once dry, it isn't oily at all, just looks like new. I do a quick wash and tune after every ride and Bike Protect keeps my bike looking new.

Great product, too expensive for the fact that sc1 is just as good or better for cheaper.

This is a nice product to apply after washing the bike. I use it after most rides after wiping down and dust.I do not recommend spraying it directly on the bike as it's not easy to control where the spray goes. I spray it on a cloth and then wipe down the frame and a few components.

This stuff is amazing! It makes my mountain bike look brand new, and after riding makes washing a breeze. I also live very close to the ocean so the salt water in the air rusts everything. I do not store my bike outside, however I feel this gives it another layer of protection. I definitely will be ordering another can when mine runs out. I have also heard good things about Pedro's Bike Lust, but I am so happy with this product I don't see the need to try anything else.

This is a great product. It gives afresh clean look to any surface I use it on 2 motorcycles on black it’s like magic and it smells great plastic or metal it gives this shine like almost new

Kenne die Muc-off Produkte schon länger, und verwende diese sehr gerne bei hochwertigen Bauteilen (Aluminium Motoren, Rahmen)bei MTB und Motocrossmaschienen, erzeugen eine Schutzschicht dadurch wird die spätere reinigung sehr erleichtert.
