It is very easy to fly. My daughters (9 and 12) were doing turns and stalls within a few minutes. The battery charges in about 30 minutes and you get at least 10 minutes of flight after that charge. The wings and nose are fragile but can still withstand normal landings/crashes on grass. We had one break after hitting sidewalk but the other is still going strong after 25 flights. Its a great product and really fun.

The headline pretty much says it. It won't stay airborne. Sure it will fly...for a short distance, but it turns horribly; no control over pitch and it always ends up in a nose dive to hit the ground. The longest it stayed in the air is about 5 seconds before yet again plummeting to the Earth. As far as yaw is concerned (turning left or right) you only have hard left or hard right. Imagine driving a car or a bike and only being able to navigate winding roads by turning the steering wheel either all the way left or right. A prime example of what "Made In China" is all about.Nope, this little thing is a waste of money and a hunk of junk.

While quite fragile and difficult to fly (if actual guidance is your goal) was here radio controlled birds are an amazing testament to human ingenuity. We’ve gone through 3 so far, none lasting more than a few months, but my kids love playing with them. A large indoor gymnasium or windless field is best, they will not operate inside a home well.

My grandson loves this bird. He has gotten a lot of play out of it. It seems flimsy but he gives it a lot of hard play and it has not broken. You do need a large clearing to really enjoy it properly. It's gotten stuck in its share of trees, but luckily we were able to retrieve it each time. ;)

We have tons of RC toys. This one seemed super cool but unfortunately right out of the box we noticed an issue with the tail turning mechanism. We did get it to fly but it wouldn’t turn left or right. I’m sure they would have sent a replacement but we opted to just return it. It just seems way to fragile

The kids love it. It flies a long time. It is fun for them, not frustrating. It's been a week and he looks forward to it everyday. It's a winner.

This lasted about 30 from first flight to broken parts. The tail “rudder†barely stays in place and one rough landing and the whole tail section separated from the body. There is a Quality Control sticker on the tail, seriously?It’s made wholly of foam and thin plastic for the wings.I guess if I want to have any extended life beyond my first flight I need to figure out how to glue the parts back together.I knew better when I added this to my cart but I thought the cats would live watching this thing fly. $20 just flew out the window (further and longer than this thing did). GARBAGE

It definitely flies. It flaps it's wings, darts, swoops and glides. I have not yet learned how to properly controll it since I need a bigger open space cleared of trees and rooftops to experiment and train myself on how to do so. I almost lost it on it's maiden flight in my backyard. It landed on a neighbor's roof. So far after numerous crashes against walls and even a rooftop, it still functions perfectly and shows no outward signs of damage. It's also nice that the bird charges relatively quickly and the flight time seems decent enough for the amount of fun it delivers. Now if they could only scale the wings bigger so that it could carry the load of a portable mini camera?! (Hint)

Anyone who rates this product less than a 4 out of 5 is a complete idiot and didnt take the time to learn how this thing flies. With a couple days of practice this product is the most entertaining rc toy i have ever flown. Other than the “short†range(which isnt even that short i just wish it would to higher now that i have gotten the hang of it), this toy is the most fun one can have for under $50. Just ordered 3 more and highly recommend this to anyone. Make sure firs flights are in a very open space such as a park or a field and once you catch on to how this thing moves you can fly it anywhere. 5 out of 5!

Im a grown adult and loved this toy. Just be careful they are very easy to break
