I was not sure how this was going to turn out but I am very happy with it. There are a lot of world maps made of wood and the prices vary a lot. This turned out to be very nice. It was cut very well. I like the different height in the layers, it makes it more 3D. It does not really come with anything to mark where you have been. It has small plastic targets? and check marks. They looked cheesy. Since it is made with, I think, millamean??, tacks would not go through it very well so I bought rhinestone stickers and each family member has their own color. So I actually like it better than just flag pins or something similar, it turned out more personalized with the rhinestones. I was also unsure about how difficult it was going to be to get it up on the wall, and it was not bad. I marked out the 2xl square size, they had two pattern pieces that you taped in the opposite corners, then you slowly build from there. It took awhile, but mostly because the sticky pads they provided were hard to peel off, but they stick very well! The smaller islands, instead of using the provided sticky pads, I used a double sided tape runner. Everything is holding great! The only bad, since it is a faux wood type material, my son drug something across it by accident and it did scratch it. I used a marker and covered it up and you can't notice it. I would definitely buy it again! Great quality for the price.

This far exceeded my expections! Its hard to scale the size of it from the photos, but that is a 13.5' long wall. I went with the XXL. It completely tranformed my black boring wall, into functional art piece. Going to Explore the World with our new born one day. Educational value there as well. Set up was fun. One complaint was we ran out of double sided tape strips. Frustrating needed to run to lowes mid project, but no big deal. Abaolutely love this! Im sending photos essentially bragging this is in my house! Cool factor 😎 ✅ï¸

Many reviews say the quality is bad, but honestly I think it’s because people keep taking them on and off the wall and wearing them down. The pieces fit perfectly and the quality is awesome. I would recommend using command strips and their strips are very sticky and ripped some of the paint off my wall.

The packaging is terrible the small countries that are glued on the continents are all coming off because nothing is straight .!! When you try to glue it to the wall and it’s very waive the country’s are falling off the continents because nothing is flat or level because they use cheap material to build this .! This is very expensive for it to be build like this cheaply. This is NOT WOOD .! This item is TRASH .!!!!!!!! It’s more like pressed cardboard.!! 0 stars for me

Beautiful world map, just the decor I needed to cover a wall that was driving me bonkers! Loved the varied colors. I love it!!! Will be adding a spot light to make it look more special!!!!

The product seems great. The instructions seem simple enough… except that it did not come with a stencil. Can I please get a stencil so that I can hang this product?
