The first one I bought did not work. It was broken. So I returned and ordered a couple more and they worked perfectly. We made cute little handmade wooden boxes and put these inside to make music boxes. Be forewarned that when you purchase these if you wind it up and listen to it, without it being contained in a box that it will not sound very loud. You will hardly hear the music. BUT once it is placed inside a box and you wind it up the music is loud. These work perfectly and are very easy to hear the music once placed inside a box. We got jingle bells.

We received this and there were lose parts in the pouch. It came with no instructions I guess because it was was supposed to arrive fully assembled. After some tinkering and Google searching I was able to figure out how to fix it. I mean it is cheap but I wouldn't recommend.

Really nice musical box replacement assembly. It is on the quieter side. And I wish the actual turn key was longer. I had to buy a replacement Turkey because it was not long enough.
