I have a hereditary skin disease on my hands, that has progressively gotten worse as I have aged (63 yo). The skin on my hands does not produce any kind of natural oil. Even the best lotions last maybe 30 minutes and then my hands are dry again! Holding on to my sticks has been nightmare for the past 10 years. I did not want to go the glove or wrap route, and modified sticks just seemed like a waste of money. I also messed around with unfinished (no varnish) sticks, but still no solution.Then I discovered Drumstick Grip Wax. I was definitely intrigued! With my skin condition I wasn't sure what direction to pursue so I bought the sampler pack with all three levels of tackiness. I started off with the medium tack and was pleasantly surprised...this stuff works as advertised!I can see this being a excellent solution for those with hyperhidrosis (sweaty hands). One container should last a long time as the product is about 2 inches in diameter and about 3/4 thick. You apply the product to the stick by rubbing the "puck" directly on the stick.I just received the product yesterday (1.18.25), so I haven't had time to experiment with the Low Tack and High Tack yet. For now, my problem has been solved!THANK YOU!

I find drumsticks to be slippery in my hands. The problem came from a long ago job I had, where my hands were always in a salt brine and its affected my grip to this day.I’m using the low tack and it works. I do need to reapply it several times while playing, so I think I’ll try the medium tack next time. Now, if a tack is too sticky I tend to get blisters, but this product got it right and It doesn’t leave a residue on your hands either. It’s packaged really nice, the product itself is appealing and they give you, your money’s worth.

I have a serious slippage problem these days, so I got the ‘High Tack’ version. Road tested it tonight. Outstanding gripping power, and I didn’t have to reapply all night! Just delighted with this product! Great job guys! :)
