Finding parts for a Squire Affinity can be a challenge. Mine is made in Indonesia and I don't know what year and was missing the whammy bar when I bought it used. I also have a MIM Fender Stratocaster with a whammy bar, but that doesn't fit the Squire. The threads are too small. My local music store says Fender doesn't support their Squires with replacement parts. They can't even order them. That's a drag. They suggested buying some on Amazon and see what fits. Turns out the 6mm diameter is exactly right for my Squire, so I'm very pleased. I only gave 4 stars, because as others have noted it sticks up higher from the strings than would be ideal. I think it should be pretty ease to put it in a vise someday, and bend it down an inch or two. Otherwise great product and can't beat the price.

Built well enough and gets the job done. Good value. This actual item was slightly too large but the smaller version by same company fits perfectly

Looking for a black tipped tremolo arm for my Squier 40th Anniversary Stratocaster after I changed the pickguard & control knobs.Took a chance on this one as the advertised measurement seemed like it might work. The OEM tremolo arm measures about 5mm, but the threads seem slightly larger - 6mm possibly. This arm fits perfectly. Shaped similarly to the OEM arm, but the bend in the middle of the arm is just a little bit steeper than the OEM bend.

I've got a gig coming up and lost my whammy bar, so I had to get a new one quickly. This one works perfectly with my Ibanez Gio. Unlike some other similarly priced whammy bars, this one bends properly instead of being straight, making it easy to grab while playing.

It fits in my 2006 MIM Strat, but the thread is incorrect. I had to use it for a gig because I needed it, but the threads are messed up on my Strat now. I also tried it on my Affinity Strat and it doesn’t fit.

Finding a replacement tremolo for a CV squier strat was difficult online.Just in case anyone else is struggling, this is 6mm and fits with a squier strat bridge (the 70s classic vibe I have at least)Fit perfectly and arm seems sturdy when using it to create tremolo.If in doubt, take your guitar to the local guitar shop and get it measured.

Bought this bar, please beware that a lot of these reviews are incorrect and misleading clearly to undermine this seller. The whammy bar diameter is exactly as listed, and all you have to do is take any tape measure, measure your whammy bar hole and it’s either exactly 6 mm (as lost are) or will clearly be a different size in which case seek the correct sized bare for your guitar. Other than that this bare works great very sturdy nice rubber at the end feels durable and good grip. I’ve unscrewed it many times as it doesn’t fit on the guitar inside my case and no problems whatsoever after 2+ Months consistent use

Después de esperar casi un año a que me pidieran de fábrica una palanca original para mi Ibanez Gio y que resultó no ser compatible, pensé que no tenÃa nada que perder probando con esta palanca y la verdad es que es un acierto.No se nota demasiado pesada, ni demasiado ligera. Parece resistente al tacto y después de unas sesiones intensas de squeelies, divebombs y pinched harmonics, puedo decir que es resistente.
