I picked up a 2012 Indonesian built Squire for a project bass and could not find a pick guard that did not require redrilling holes. Looking at the pictures this one it looked like a match so I took a chance and it lined up perfectly. The original pots fit the holes but as part of the build I increased the hole size for the new Art of tone replacement pots with no issues. The guard also fit over the new Fender pickups perfectly. The guard had a double protective film which prevented any scratching during the fitting and it had shielding tape already applied to the back. I put all the screws in loosely at first and then alternately tightened them. All the screws went in straight and the guard lined up with every hole and laid down flat. This color is great just wish there were a few more choices.

Not bad at all for the money, I have a squier affinity bass and if that’s what you’re putting this on it will definitely require some modifications, mostly around the pickup holes. Luckily I had a dremel and experience so with some cutting/ filing down it fit nicely. All the screw holes matched up except for the one on the left which required a new hole but did easily screw in with the screws provided. All Things considered it was worth it and looks great on my bass!

I used this to restore an older Indonesian P Bass.The screw holes lined up perfectly, and as an added bonus, already had holes drilled for the pickup shield.An excellent value for what it is.

Fit my Squire Affinity. I had to gently massage it into place. I rated it four stars because it has a small hole on either side of the pickup slot. The holes serve no purpose on a p bass mount. You cant see the holes in the picture unless you expand the picture and know what to look for.
