I have this old Buffet (1937 I believe) that only gets occasional use since retiring. Now when a gig comes up, my upper joint to barrel cork just came apart.Being a DYI guy, I know that preciseness in cutting (tapering one side where the cork overlaps), good contact cement, gentle even sanding of the cork and a very clean surface will go a long way for success.Being rural, repair techs are far away and very backlogged!Great product, well packaged and I could have arrived sooner, but it did arrive on time!

This worked very well for my cork replacement on my Buescher stencil. No breaks at all after using a mallet on it first.

I too fell victim to the fine print. Read the description closely. You are paying $10 for one small sheet of cork. The quality is good, but I'm not sure it's worth it and it's very disappointing when you open the package. This is one of those times I wish I had read the reviews before clicking Add To Cart. It does say one sheet when I went back to read it so I guess this one is one me, but know what your ordering before you buy.

It was for my grandson. He said it worked great. He plays the saxaphone and that is what he used it for since one of the corks was messed up on his sax.
