I bought this humidifier by chance after a humidifier of another brand arrived with a pin hole. This one has worked flawlessly. Moreover, it alerted me to the fact that our house was at about 27% humidity. This explained a lot - dry itchy skin, etc. Ultimately it led me to discover that the installers of our water heater in 2021 failed to turn the water supply to the house humidifier back on. The lack of humidity actually led to floor boards popping off the beams. I can only hope that my 1956 Martin survived these dry years unscathed. Now it and my new classical guitar are protected by humidifiers. I would highly recommend this humidifier with its hydrometer feature.

I just got a new Seagull Acoustic guitar (Great guitars!!) and I needed to humify it. I was getting tired of the humidipak, felt terrible just tossing them in the trash. Thought I was going to use a separate sponge solution and ergometer. THEN I saw this and thought "Finally someone did it!" It is so easy to use, had mine for about a month now. The ergometer is spot on, it matched the two other ones I had in my room. I would HIGHLY RECCOMEND, and the sponge seems to hold water longer than the other solutions I have, so its a one-two punch of awesome. I will def be recommending these to all of my students, its that time of year, HUMDIFY YOUR GUITAR! Keep Playing!

This is a very good humidifier. The sponge is long-lasting and will not drip unless very saturated. The digital read out is fantastic. The blue case is a bit thick for a steel-string acoustic guitar with a 1-3/4" nut width, and pushes the strings apart. Worse, the blue case has little grooves running along the length of it at the top that will grab the strings. This may be meant to keep it from falling out - a closed case will do that. The strings are grabbed tight enough that it can take some real force to pull the humidifier out. Putting a little bit of tape or glue over the grooves helps make this easier to remove. But, still, the sponge and readout make this a great choice.

Very good. I have bought 3 of them.You will have to rewet every few days to keep humidity. The hydrometer is good.

I was initially worried about separating strings to insert the unit into the soundhole-but no big deal. Good quality and is working very well.

this is a humidifier for stringed instrument cases, works well in my acoustic guitar cases. I live in an arid climate, so the sponge needs rewetting weekly, but the humidity stays in the good range all the time, and there is no water leakage. battery seems to last well, I have had for months with no need to replace the battery.

I like the readout telling me where things are humidity and temp wise. No more guess work. I live in a very dry climate and with winter indoor heating cycles wanted to protect the investment in my guitar. This seems to do the job well. No complaints

Lo que me gustoEs fácil de usar, practico, ya cuenta con pila, la pantalla tiene función para marcar a grados centigrados, la esponja de humificacion es de buen material, eso es lo que me gustoLo que no me gustoEs que no se que tan preciso sea el hidrometro por eso siempre trato en revisar constantemente su grado de humedad, pero la revisión es normal, tanto como dice el fabricante como los especialistas que arreglan y humifican las guitarrasLo recomiendo si apenas estas empezando y quieres cuidar tu guitarra por un presupuesto no tan alto ☺ï¸

Sponge is that memory foam material so it holds a lot of moisture and holds into it tight! No drips whatsoever. As for the numbers, I don't have another deice to cross check this thing but the numbers a reflective of what we see this time of year. It's got some small tabs that almost grab onto your strings and hold it place. Easy to read display and believe it measure every 30 secinds. Would recommend.

I like this humidifier and I’m sure it’s a good way to keep my guitar hydrated. But I find the little sponge inside dries out too fast if you are hydrating a guitar that is on a stand or on the wall. Plus, I think the reading on the gauge is indicating how damp the sponge is. It was reading 40% when the sponge was dried out, and when I wet the sponge it jumped to 47%. I would still recommend it and I’m sure it would work better in a case where it wouldn’t dry out so quickly
