It's adequate but Yamaha's lubricant seems just more effective and efficient, smoother; slide moves more freely with Yamaha's brand. But Music Nomad will get the job done.

I started with a freshly cleaned slide and followed the online instructions. It worked fairly well for about 30 minutes, then needed reapplication with less acceptable results.

Seal was broken and the package was covered in lube. Also, lube appeared to be expired and watery...if any of you guys have ever used really old slide lube, you'll know it has this watery makeup that does nothing to grease your slide. That's what this product was like, expired water that didn't do anything. I'd return it but it's just $8 so it's not worth the time or effort, so just leaving a warning for people instead.

Bought this because my local music store was out of The Yamaha Lube I usually use. I was not greatly impressed. Worked a bit better on my newer horn but was horrible on my older one probably because the tolerances have become larger on my older horn over the years through wear and tear.It didn't NOT work but the Yamaha lube is far superior in my opinion.
