I bought these for a chaise/bench seat to cover the buttons on the top so my dog won't chew on them and add a splash of color. They fit nicely. I wouldn't call them thick, they are muslin so that should tell you all you need to know. They do appear thicker than they are in the advertisement but they get the job done. I'm sure they would be perfect for a crib.
