I needed a 2-wire connector to add a headlight wire harness to my riding mower that the previous owner must have clipped off for some reason. These worked perfectly for the job. It was a bit of a learning curve for me since I also bought an excellent ratchet crimping tool and wire stripper set with a case (Haisstronica) from Amazon and I’ve never used one of those ratcheting crimpers before. I messed up a couple of the pin terminals trying to figure out the proper use of the tool but once I figured it out I was golden. These connectors are good quality and I do believe that they will keep moisture out of the connection. It looks professionally done if you ask me so I’m really happy with my purchase. It allows me to disconnect the harness if I need to remove the mower hood for maintenance and repairs. I bought some one-pin connectors for my mother’s riding mower that has a single cut wire spliced together that needs to be fixed properly. I have plenty of both types for future needs. My only complaint is that I wish they would give a couple extra male/female pin connectors and maybe even the little rubber seals in case you mess something up or if a piece gets lost. Having the exact amount needed means that if something happens to one small part the entire connector is wasted. I do highly recommend these to anyone looking for a good wire connection for automotive, yard equipment, or other similar fixes.

Very easy to install. They seem to be built very well and make it easy to disconnect wires. I’ve converted all my DC accessories to these and have had no problems

These connectors do their job well; the name brand Weather Pack connector do their job really well but they generally cost about three times as much-maybe a little more than that. You need to decide if they are worth the difference.I tried both. As far as the bodies go I was hard-pressed to see the difference. The pins are a little different matter: The big difference is the material and the side profile. The true Weather Pack pins have a definite belly to allow for the insulation under the insulation crimp point where these pins do not. This kinda interferes with the crimping. They still work pretty well but it just doesn’t make for as pretty a crimp. I think this also causes the number one complaint I see in the comments—the fact that you might have to do a little straightening after the units are assembled. There seems to be a little confusion on which pins go with which bodies. YouTube is your friend! I recommend you spend a lot of time there before you attack these couplers. About half of the people on there get it wrong (You decide which half), but there is a lot of good info on there. The confusion comes from the fact that the female bodies look like they are male and versi-visi for the male, so about half of the people say the female pins to in the male bodies and male pins go in the female bodies. The people who make these name the body with the protruding tubes the female body. Call it what you will, but that’s the one that you should insert the female pin into. If you happen to get it wrong don’t worry; they will still work. I found that either pin will work in either body. They are well worth the money, but because the pins may need a little tweaking you have to be careful when you couple them up so I’ll give them a 4. If you use name-brand pins I would rate them as 5.

I've put these connectors BMW motorcycles and some cars. They work great, but purchase a crimper that has a pin holder to properly align the pins and crimp the wire and insulator seal at the same time. Alignment is critical for the connector to be correctly aligned when inserted into the holder. Using a typical crimper is a crap-shoot, don't do it. Use the correct crimper and your work will look factory professional if not better.Additionally, you can buy connector terminals and the blocks separately, just search for them. I have different sizes of blocks and multiple terminals sized for many wire gauges, then select what you need for the job and don't worry about having enough connector terminals. Yes, at times I need to tweak the two connectors, usually I work with the male side, in order to push them together, but once done the pins get 'seated' better and it goes together easily afterward.Keep in mind this style of connector is NOT woaterproof, just moisture-proof, so don't buy them for submerged connectors. I used these connectors to replace an older quick-disconnect that seemed to be causing running issues on an engine's ignition system. They did the job, giving a great connection. The old connectors were similar, but shorter and not moisture-proof, so I expect the new connector to last for decades.

Just like the GM connectors. Good quality, good fit, and easy to install.

For the quantity, the price is ok. Didnt realize these were made in china and relatively cheaply made. The clamp down wings on the metal terminals are difficult to use and probably not the best connection (would recommend soldering). When the Male and Female terminals are pushed together the only thing keeping continuity are two small "springs" on either side of the male terminal which make contact with the inner wall of the female terminal. Because of the cheap quality, if this connection was undone regularly I doubt it would last a long time before voltage drops and shorts would occur. Because of this, I made my wiring setup for my fish finder so that this connection wouldn't be undone regularly but left connected. I used a silicone sealant to go over connections and this probably makes the junction water resistant, but I wouldnt test my luck by sumbersion for any length or serious depth. Again, for the cost, probably cant be beat, but if I could find a supplier willing to sell me a couple of well made units for just a few dollars, Id go that route.

Good product, a couple issues with installing wire, expect to waste a few inserts to get it right
