I got this because of odd noise coming from my tape deck using one of those tape to aux adapters. It cleaned the head and now it sounds crystal clear when I play music. My car is 30 years old and I would assume dust has built up since it hasn’t been used a ton, but this did it.I took one of my girlfriend’s hair pins to puncture the bottle and found that worked very well for me.This is an inexpensive way to protect your investment and breathe life back into a tape deck if you don’t want to upgrade to a newer deck!

Unfortunately, older cassette showed very little difference, maybe due to aging.

I recently acquired a vintage radio with cassette player that needed to be cleaned. I cleaned it with this easily, though I did have to run it through several times, not because of the cleaner tape but because of the cassette player's not being used for many years it seems. Nice cleaner.

I'm a tapehead who spends hours dubbing cassette tapes from vinyl records, which I later listen to on a TPS-L2 Walkman, when I'm on the go. Being someone who owns multiple decks, I understand the importance of head cleaning, for both getting the best quality possible when recording, and ensuring my expensive walkman doesn't degrade because of the head. That's why I bought this head cleaner. I'm not going to risk damage to my Walkman by using sub par head cleaner, thus that's why I bought this head cleaner. It's cheap and reliable. Highly recommend for all you tapeheads out there.

It ruined my cassette player have no idea how and destroyed 2 cassettes.Sadly returning this product isn’t easy because not coming from Amazon 15$ wasted on crappie product!
