The mouthpiece did exactly what we needed it to do. It made the horn sound much better.

This mouthpiece plays very well. It feels deeper and wider than a 7C for sure, but it might be smaller than a regular 1.5C. Nonetheless, it’s a very playable “megatone†mouthpiece for 18 bucks.

we bought it because it was similar to the mouthpiece my son's private teacher has. After the teacher saw it he told us how this is worth more than the trumpet my son was playing on. I told him it cost about $20. he said no way and tried it out. he went back and forth between his and my son's. he said that it was so similar that if he did not know it was a chinese knock-off. he said he would not be able to tell. Several other of his students now have one.

I have been playing for sixty years now. I have never much experimented with mouthpieces. I have a smattering of Bach, Schielke, Warburton, and Marcinkiewicz mouthpieces. One Canadian Brass mouthpiece, as well, that is, like one Yamaha, medium weight. This is my first heavy mouthpiece, and I like it. As I mentioned, it is solid and dependable in the upper register in particular.
