I had a new switch installed in my aircraft for the radio master. It was a $50 PMA'd switch, but unlike the one it replaced it didn't have any insulation on the metal toggle. I wanted the panel to look uniform so I place these on to make the radio master and the Nav1/Nav 2 switch which were right next to each other match. Screwed on a standard 1/2" thread w/o problem and worked well. The .47" dimension they publish gave me pause for concern, but they did fit standard toggle switches that fit in 1/2" holes.

Makes outside toggle switches more weatherproof. Time will tell if rubber holds up well

Made a bracket for 3 switches from a. Thin wall piece of aluminum angle iron Drilled 3 holes on one leg and used gorilla. 2sided tape to mount on the frame of my suzuki dl650 v strom.The different colors are nice to have.They are easy to mount on the switches.And look to be at least very water resistant.

Package arrived on time and covers appear to be well made. I applied a little silicone grease to the toggle on the switch and the boot slipped over it nicely. Threads were perfect and was able to tighten down the boot without any issues. The boot is a little long for my switch but not enough to interfere with the operation of the switch.
