This white noise machine has been perfect for sleep training baby. Great volume control. Can be used with or without a timer (it can stay on continuously until turned off, which is how we use it). It is small and easy to transport and can be run on batteries. So nice for when we’re traveling or me baby needs to nap in a different place. And it’s so much more affordable than the fancy brands!

We had the sound machine for years! Just buy it! Other sounds are great but phoneApps can be problematic when traveling. My entire family uses this machine. Light weight, small, portable with battery access if needed. Buy it, put it on and let your baby, kid or YOU get the sleep and rest you deserve!

This works well....meaning, the different sounds are good for baby. For me, as an adult, there are some funky background noises with the "crickets/peepers in the woods". Not sure if it is supposed to be water or what. I bought this unit because a friend has it for their baby. It has worked for 2 years with no issues so I decided to try it. Easy to use. Good ocean sound. Good white noise sound. Wish it has more sound choices. Great volume control and timer settings....15/30/1hr/ continual.. settings.

I haven't given birth yet but I got this device early to help ME sleep better. There are several sound settings (I happen to like the ocean waves the best) with adjustable volume. It's super-portable, easy to charge and easy to use. My husband likes it too, so it will be perfect for everyone when our new baby comes, since she'll be sleeping in our room to start.

Great product.Pros:Good variety of noises.Had the heartbeat sound both our children loved when they were newborns.It uses batteries or plug in. I've had sound machines for one or the other but both has been very helpful for home/travel with the kids.Loud enough that we normally don't put it to full volume.Cons:There is a noticeable sound loop. I only notice it when I'm doing late night feeding with the kids and I'm sitting there focusing on it. Otherwise I don't notice it.Interesting:The heartbeat sound is a little funky but still effective.Buttons make a clicking sound. Didn't bother us but it is pretty loud.

I bought this for night time use. I have used it for a few weeks now and here is my review,Pros: lasts all night when plugged in, has good options for white noise, baby liked it and slept all nightCons: volume control is terrible. It’s either too loud or too low so basically Have to keep it going at loud volume. Also not compatible with travel as it needs to be plugged in.Overall I’m satisfied but the volume control could be much better.

We have the older green version of this sound machine in two kids' bedrooms, and bought this updated version for our baby's bedroom. All 3 have the same sounds, which matters to me because kids can be fussy with little changes like that. I think both the sound and quality of the new product are superior, and I'm very pleased with my purchase. I really, really like that this version has buttons instead of knobs. After a few hundred falls on the floor, and a move to a new house, the knobs don't always work. There are no such issues with the buttons. It's also easy to control the volume, which I appreciate.Above and beyond the technical aspects of this sound machine, I'd also like to just say that this is a fantastic device for parent peace of mind. It's HARD getting kids to go to sleep and stay asleep. Especially if you live in a smaller house, older house, or just make noise after your kids go to bed. This sound machine is a lifesaver for providing enough white noise to keep littles asleep without being annoying or headache-inducing. We primarily use the "white noise" setting, but none of the sounds are offensive. My kids now stay asleep through sibling wakeups, storms, loud movies, vacuuming, cleaning, visitors coming and going, and other loud noises. Do yourself a favor, and add some security to your nighttime routine!

We have one of these in each bedroom. They are perfect and still going strong after years of being used daily. There are different sounds to pick from from white noise to ocean and rain sounds. You can travel with the unit. I believe it needs 4AA batteries if you don’t want to bring the cord, but it lasts forever on just the batteries.I wish the volume control would have one more level between good loud and super loud.
