I will be adding something to the ends of the dowels to better hold the stems of the glasses — one light touch and the stems fall off the edges — will look for thin screws with large flat heads or maybe I can find washers with the inside diameter of the dowels and press them on — whatever I come up with, in my opinion something needs to happen or I will be getting very frustrated swapping out my collection of glasses — otherwise I am happy with this eyeglass rack — the color happens to closely match my bedroom furniture which also does not have a glossy finish — took less than 2 minutes to unbox and assemble — built well enough to last forever — only the one issue I mentioned

Assembly took less than 5 minutes and comes with everything needed. Materials are on the cheaper end. I think the stand weighs only 1 lb. My only complaint is that most of the nose pegs’ notches aren’t horizontally straight (see photo). Not a big deal because the glasses still stay put but depending on your frame’s bridge shape, it could cause your glasses to sit crooked.
