This is perfect. Our son, age 8, loves it. Collapses easily into a little round carrying bag. You need the steel posts though to keep it from toppling. Holes are placed perfectly. Totally worth it!

Edit 2: Downgrading again because the poles ended up poking through the nylon -- they actually wore through the pockets they fit into and also the front of the goal. Now, they won't stand up. I am going to try to sew a stronger "pocket" into the ends where the poles go, but I am not looking forward to hand sewing eight little pockets. Totally unacceptable -- these are barely used.Edit 1: My original review is below, but it turns out my concerns about durability were realized.... with about twelve hockey games on pavement in less than a month of ownership, the material is starting to tear where the poles go in. So, downgrading from 4 stars to 2. As long as the holes don't cause the support poles to fail, it may not be a big deal, but if they tear out, then I will probably have to sew some heavier reinforcing material into them -- not really very fun. So, now kind of wish I had spent more money and got dedicated goals since I don't need the portability anyway.I was about to order some soccer goals, but then I came across these (ordered them somewhere else because they were out of stock an Amazon at the time) that can serve dual-purpose for our street hockey games. I have to say that they are great fun! When I play against my son, I use the side with the goalie, and he uses the open side -- evens things up a bit :). I haven't had them long enough to speak to their durability, but the concept is great. Twisting them back into the little round sack can be a bit tricky -- still haven't quite figured out if I am doing it right (instructions are a bit hazy on the procedure), but they end up round and it only takes a few seconds. You do have two fiberglass poles to hold them open, but it only takes a minute to install/remove them. If you look at the picture, the poles fit into the vinyl sleeves on the side -- you remove these, then the goals fold flat (which is how I store them at home) -- if you need them back in the bag, then you do a funny twisting/overlap motion and the goal turns into a small circle -- very easy to transport. They also come with some metal spikes to hold them in the grass. I am giving them 4 stars because I haven't had them long enough to warrant giving them 5 (hoping they prove to be durable), although I would give them 5 if you didn't have to install the poles -- yes it is quick, but hey, it can always be quicker, right?

I bought this from my local store, not from Amazon. The directions are so terrible that I'm left with a pile of bent wire frame. I threw it away. Save yourself the trouble and steer clear of this junk product.
