So glad I came across this item on Amazon. I was stuck in a hard spot. The original drain hose that came withy 1yr old washing machine was not long enough when we moved into our new home. Where we purchased my washing machine didn't carry longer hose. Repair company could order it but it was going to take 2 weeks and $150 for replacement hose!! However it did take Amazon longer than what they advertised but I'm finding this to be true once erything I've ordered here lately from them. Otherwise highly recommend this hose, good quality, and definitely great price!

THIS HOSE IS PERFECT FOR A USE NOT INTENDED BY THE MANUFACTURER. I HAVE A CENTRAL AC THAT HAS AN OUTSIDE DRAIN PIPE CARRYING WATER FROM THE AC HANDLER. I HAVE BEEN USING A KITTY LITTER PAN TO COLLECT THE WATER AND DISPOSING OF IT AWAY FROM MY HOUSE'S FOUNDATION. NO MORE! THIS IS THE ONLY HOSE I FOUND ON AMAZON THAT CAN FIT A PIPE WITH AN OUTSIDE DIAMETER OF 1.5 INCHES. IT FITS PERFECTLY AND WITH INCLUDED CLAMP IT IS SECURELY FASTENED. THE LENGTH OF THE HOSE IS LONG ENOUGH TO CARRY WATER TO A BUSH NEAR THE COMPRESSOR, SO IT NOT ONLY CARRIES WATER AWAY FROM THE FOUNDATION OF MY HOUSE, BUT IT WATERS MY BUSHES!

I just got this product today for my zeny portable washer , its a long slim hose - ( i didn't really need all that length but i knew what i was getting into by the title . I desperately needed a new hose for my washer , it honestly took me maybe half an hour to a hour to get it on due to the tightener that's on it . When you reach a certain tightness you will definitely need a tool to keep tightening it . When i did finally get it hooked up and tight did a test run with some water and to my surprise it had a leak in it . Pros i can honestly say is it looks like it could be a good hose for maybe a different type of washer but for my 17.6 inch portable washer it was a no go . Especially when its time to drain its like you have to assist the draining process if your washing machine isn't on a high stand where gravity can push the water out the entire 6 ft. hose . Shipping was fast but I'm very disappointed in the end result .

It did just the trick for what I bought it for. I purchased the Giantex Portable Washing Machine from Amazon and I wanted to place it in my tub because it's much easier for me to do my laundry like that. Unfortunately the drain hose was too short and it didn't reach the drain on my tub. If I used it like that, the water would have gotten under my machine and messed up the motors. Anyways, I found this drain hose adapter and purchased it despite some reviews saying it doesn't work on portable machines. When I received it, I noticed that no amount of trimming was going to make the adapter part fit my drain hose. BUT, I tried the other end as some reviews suggested and it worked!!!!! Now, I gave it 4 stars because there is some leaking between my drain hose and the adapter. However, I use it in my tub so I don't mind the leaking at all. I'm sure if I were to use some plumber's Teflon tape, I could probably stop the leaking. But for what I'm using it for, I didn't find it necessary. I also trimmed the hose and it trimmed nicely. Just in case anyone else uses this adapter for a portable washer, here's a tip: buy disposable foot socks (the panty hose material kind) and attach them with a rubber band to the end of your drain hose to keep all the lint from clogging your pipes. You can't see the lint but trust me, it's there and it will do some hard damage to your pipes. I bought a box of 144 right off of Amazon and tie the sewn end just to keep it from having any lint escape. Sorry for the long review but hope this helps someone!!

It seems kinda cheap. Anyway, the hose is kind of narrow for a sump pump. The adjustable end is very nice but the other end is a hard plastic and I had trouble figuring out how to adapt something to it. It's a weird size. No idea what it is made to hook up to, but maybe it's a washing machine thing? Normally I would slip an adapter over and tighten down, but since it is a hard type of plastic I'm worried it may break. I ended up going with something else for my project because I couldn't hook this one up.

So easy to attach hose to sink and came with a clamp that was easy to tighten by hand, no need for screwdriver or any kind of tool. Six foot hose gave me plenty of length to drain water. Good quality.

The attachment that goes to the faucet on the bath tub that is square, which is where I need it does not work at all, even with the tightening strip.
