Works with Nearly Any 1.75mm Filament Under the Sun
We at MYNT3D believe you should be able to use any thermoplastic you wish. ABS and PLA are a given, but what about wood or bronze infused filaments? If it is 1.75mm and melts between 140-230° C, then it will work in the MYNT3D Pen.
Recommended temperatures:
- ABS: 210° C
- PLA: 175° C
- All other plastics: Reduce temperature relative to recommendations for 3D printers

This pen is fun to use for smaller prints. The more you practice with it the cooler the items you can create. I got this pen after watching a YouTube video of someone printing a squirtle from Pokémon with a 3d pen. The pen is easy to use and mesmerizing. Highly recommend.

Very comfortable pen. Instructions were vague. Found I needed to straighten the filament while trying to load it and get the pen to deliver.

My daughter has been wanting one of these pens since she saw all of those ridiculous five minute craft videos.This pen did not disappoint. It works very well, and she really enjoys doing it. It does take a little bit to get used to, and it’s a little difficult to create 3-D objects. Once you get the hang of it, though, it’s not bad at allFor the love of God, though, if you purchase this pen, do not try to re-create all of those awful TikTok, five minute craft videos. What the hell are those guys thinking?

My son kept asking for one of these, of course we purchased for his bday. It is a neat tool, takes a little bit to learn how to use it and to learn how fast it heats up. I would only buy if your child is old enough so they won’t get burnt. He loved making 3d objects and we are still learning how to use it . I would recommend on buying it just because it’s different and cool to use. We did buy more ink to go inside it also.

This is literally the cutest little thing ever! My kids never stop making stuff! I had to buy a lot more colors so they can create more stuff. And I even did it and it’s sooo much fun!! Even my teenage son who is onli concerned with his phone even put his phone down to create stuff. We love it!!

This 3D pen overheats and clogs frequently, making it frustrating to use. The filament doesn’t feed smoothly, causing uneven extrusion and requiring constant adjustments. The pen also gets uncomfortably hot after extended use, which is a safety concern, especially for younger users. The included PLA filament is of lower quality and tends to break easily. While the design pad is a nice touch, the lack of reliable performance from the pen itself makes the entire kit disappointing. I was expecting a higher-quality product for the price, but it seems like this one struggles with durability and consistency.
