When shingling a 3/4" thick deck, the local stores only had roofing nails an inch long or more. I needed to have a nail that would not penetrate the deck because the underside is exposed and I wanted to clear coat it. Thanks for having a product that wasn't a popular size.

What could be simpler than a nail? ... yet most of the box contained machine-defective rejects. Total garbage.
