Its actually so durable and truly 18ga, it was too much for my application of LED lighting on my boat. If you did need something more durable and heavy duty, direct burial etc, this stuff is awesome.

I used this to feed a set of rear speakers in my UTV so the black outer jacket helped make the wires less noticeable on my black roll cage. My only complaint is that the outer jacket is super stiff and difficult to get around tight bends. Warming it up helps some.
