This instrument is from India and cheaply made. I've played trumpet for 9 years and this product is utter crap! Stay away! You will also be lucky if the seller responds to you if you need help with a problem. The spit valves are not saudered correctly and the valves are still stiff after multiple attempts at applying valve oil. The seller will also send you a return label, but expect you to pay for shipping back, even if the product is broken. Not a good product or company to deal with. This trumpet is not for a beginner or anyone wanting a quality made instrument.

It has been a long time since I played the trumpet. Picked up this horn just for fun. I think the valves are sluggish and the tone is pitchy and harsh. I am happy, but I don't think you would want to perform with this horn. For playing around the house it will be a lot a fun. Just FYI: this horn can not play below a c sharp. I don't know how you would make this horn work for school band. Now, if you are playing Handel then have fun. It does blow very easy.

My husband has been playing trumpet for 15 years. He has owned a Bach, several student models, and even a Holton model. He said this trumpet has very smooth airflow, the valves are heavy duty and great quality. The trumpet is solid and not at all flimsy. The finish is beautiful. It has a copper lead pipe. He said its a beautiful horn! He was very impressed!! He will be using this during his Church Christmas concerts. He played it immediately and this trumpet has such a loud sound and great sound quality!When I buy off of amazon I always go straight for the highest rated reviews. Some of the reviews for this trumpet said it was garbage and the valves were junk. I was soooo nervous buying it. I was afraid I bought a crap horn and my husband wouldnt like it. Absolutely not. My husband isnt a beginner player and this trumpet sounds beautiful! If your nervous about the cecilio, dont be! You will be impressed!
