I wanted an inexpensive marble cheeseboard to use as a display pieces for my boutique (southoflondon.com). This buy was 10 times better than I expected. It's heavy, very well-made and quite gorgeous. The gold foil trim looks super sophisticated not cheap and the marble top has a nice, smooth surface. I'm quite happy with this purchase.

I do like the item however it is more on the expensive side. I happened to go to HomeGoods the following week and found a very similar item for half the price .

I use this board as a decor item on the kitchen counter. The quality is very good; the gold edges are continuous without a flaw. It is equally attractive at daylight and night light. I found the size just right. I enjoy it a lot.
