I came across this cat litter in one of my client's homes and fell in love instantly! I'm a multi-cat household - No litter box odor in my home, it clumps very well, minimal tracking, box does not need to be changed every week, and it works well with the PetSafe Scoopfree Litter Box! Great value, NO dust, and eco-friendly! I could never go back to regular cat litter... I don't think my cats could either! 1000% impressed and I recommend it to EVERYONE!

Cats love it, we do too! No more dusty, chalk mess when kitty uses the box and when we need to clean it. Easily cleaned up, masks odors well. Lasts a long time. Will purchase again as needed.

I like that it's not clay and it's natural. Does have some dust. But every cat litter has at leadtsome dust. Love the woodsy smell. Clumps well. 1 bag lasts me 7 weeks for 2 cats. It does track. So I keep Sisal rugs in front of the litter boxes.

Purchase this cat litter I have two cats and I have bought the litter from the store and they hate it and I believe it's because most the stuff at the store is heavily scented and truthfully who wants to take a poo and a box of potpourri when we adopted the kittens this stuff was gave to us to you so we used it and the cats seem to like it so when we changed and then the cat stopped using the litter box with the Walmart stuff we went back to this we found on Amazon it does very well it is a little bit expensive compared to just basic letter but it doesn't have a lot of odor that some people don't understand that some of the smells from the store-bought stuff is actually bad for your cat's Health you have to remember they can smell better we can so if it's overly strong on potpourri smell it is really over strong for them so it works also very well with hearing and feces it clumps very well it doesn't have weird older it smells natural and it works like it's supposed to

I tried this litter because the grass based litters do not cover the smell. This litter and the grass ones clump as well - and even better really - than the clay based clumping litters. This is quite a bit more dusty than the truly "zero dust" grass based ones I buy but less dusty than all the clay ones. I notice the dust most when first adding litter to the box. Not so much each day when scooping. This litter masks the smell much better! I have settled on mixing half this litter with half the grass based litters and think it is the easiest litter box management yet. No more sneezing or wheezing from my older cat, no more poop smell right after using the box from my younger cats, hard clumps that stay together when scooping, dried out poop, lightweight litter making scooping easier on the wrist and hand, easy sifting minimizing litter waste. No wet but unclumped litter even if I skip a day scooping... even with multiple cats sharing the boxes.After 20 years of using Tidy Cat sccopable (and thinking it was the best it could be), I am so glad I switched. My cats (and rabbits) switched without hesitation over a month or so of mixing in more and more of the new litter. When I added this walnut based litter to the grass ones, I couldn't tell a difference in their litterbox behavior. Great product - best used mixed with another natural litter!

I don't care for house cats at all... but then there were many stray kittens.. so.. I couldn't resist the cute little jerks and I kept one.. cat boxes are generally almost always disgusting and smelly.. clay, baking soda, scented litter whatever is super gross and I can almost immediately identify a home that is using that stuff. So I couldn't stand a house with a traditional clay based litter box...at least until I discovered this walnut litter!! I don't smell anything from this stuff. The only hint of stink is when the cat is activity going to the bathroom and until the car covers up it's smelly turd. But then.. it's like nothing happened. Super easy to clean. A little dusty as you scoop the clumps. But.. I'm very impressed at the effectiveness and no odor. I've bought a few bags now and will continue to do so until the price goes up as all the good stuff seems to sky rocket in price after you get hooked on it. Awesome use of an all natural product that is typically discarded or not thought of by the avg being. Thanks to the person who thought up using walnut shells for a good cause.

I have tried every type of litter known to man and this is the cheapest, safest, and most effective of them all.1. It is light so the 40lbs is like 120lbs of clay litter by mass which makes it roughly the same cost.2. The lightness of it makes it easy to scoop and it doesn’t turn into mud at the bottom of the box like clay. (Looking at YOU DR ELSEYS)3. It smells like walnuts, just an earthy smell that is actually really pleasant. Dust is minimal, and it’s just walnut dust so it’s not harmful in any way.4. Odor control is better than expected and I’d say equivalent to the best clay litters I’ve tried without any of the irritants.5. Tracking is bad. It’s the same as clay litter lol. The upside to it is that it’s walnut and not dirty gross clay. It’s easy to see and easy to sweep up but yeah, no tracking is pretty much a myth.6. Do my cats like it? Yep! They took to it immediately and none of them have had issues. It’s a very fine litter so it’s not uncomfortable on their paws.7. Earth friendly! Clay litter at its origin and at its end is terrible for the ecosystem and your cats health. Walnut is fully flushable and biodegradable and non toxic. No matter what litter you end up using, don’t use clay anymore!!

Our local store stopped carrying this so we had switched to a corn based litter, huge mistake, we started noticing the corn all over the house and then our house started smelling like cat urine...so we decided it would be worth whatever it costs to get back to his walnut based litter...I don't think we'll ever switch away from this one again. As long as we can buy it, we will.

It’s crushed walnut shells for your animals to use as a bathroom…. Nothing fancy, but it works really well at controlling smells to.
