Was very simple to grow. Didn't take too much time. Will be buying more beans. Daughter loves to eat them. The taste is great. Once in a while you might get a bad tasting sprout but everything can't be 100%. Wish it was a little cheaper. Easy for children to watch grow but supervise while handling glass jar. This is cheaper to use to grow your own than buying from store. You have more shelf life.

I am amazed at the quality and size of the sprouts I can grow in just 3-4 days. I watched several YT videos and then came up with my own simple technique and have been able to grow sprouts quicker than the package indicates (it says 6 days). Here's how I do it:(1) Get a plastic container and drill several drainage holes in the bottom (I use a container which originally contained almonds or use a 2-liter soda bottle cut down).(2) Wash your container well and place some netting inside the bottom of the container. I use netting from bags of fruit or onions and clean it well before placing it in the container (I use the dishwasher).(3) Thoroughly rinse 1/3 cup of dry mung beans, fill dish with water and soak beans overnight (8-12 hours).(4) After soaking, drain the beans and pour carefully into your prepared container to avoid the drain holes.(5) Cover the beans with a scrunched up lightweight cloth napkin (a paper towel might work but I haven't tried it) and hold container under running water to soak everything well, including the napkin.(6) Let water drain as much as possible and place container in a dish to catch any water than might continue to drain.(7) Cover container completely with a dark colored lightweight kitchen towel and place on kitchen counter away from sunlight.(8) Soak your container of beans 4 times a day under running water. Continue to drain and cover back up.(9) In 3-4 days your sprouts will be ready to harvest. Pull the sprouts gently from the netting and place them in a large bowl. Fill the bowl with water and use your hand to swish them around a bit and then pour water out, discarding the green hulls that separate from the sprouts, if desired, although this is not necessary.(10) Store sprouts covered with water in the fridge for up to a week, changing water each day.Using this method you will have over 1 pound of huge sprouts to use in salads, sandwiches, soups, stir fries or any other way you enjoy them. My dog also loves them as much as I do. The plate in the photo is my latest crop of fat sprouts on a big 10-inch dinner plate. This Nature Jim's 1-lb. bag of Mung Beans produces about 7 crops of sprouts using only 1/3 cup of beans for each crop and each crop will weigh approximately 1 pound or more (that's a lot of sprouts). At the current price of the beans, this makes each crop cost about $1.85. How much will you pay for a pound of bean sprouts in the grocery store these days and how long have those sprouts been sitting on the store shelves?

Man this was the first time I’ve ever tried to grow some micro greens and I did my research on brands. I must say this one was really great!! The directions were really easy to follow. I grew mine in a large Tupperware container because at the time that was all I really had that could accommodate the half cup I used. It was fun to watch them grow and water. I think they got a bit too much sunshine or maybe a day too long but I definitely do not mind ! For my first time it was wonderful and I will add that ALL of my seeds germinated. I will continue to use this brand. They taste really great as well!

Can't find bean sprouts in the store. And if they're available it's not fresh. This is a better alternative. . Sprouted like those in the store. Very good.
