I generally don't take the time to write reviews but was compelled to write one on this product. We have a dog who was having accidents on an upholstered chair. A steam vac was able to get out the stains but even with repeated use and heavy duty cleaning products, we could not get rid of the smell. I tried a lot of different methods but there was still a slight lingering odor. Multiple sites I turned to for advice said the only thing that can truly get rid of the smell once and for all is an enzymatic formula and one article recommended this particular product. It completely worked and took a tiny fraction of the time I had used with the other methods. Literally all you do is spray it on and let it dry. WARNING--do not use liberally like I did as the scent is strong so a little goes a long way. I know the strength of the scent will mellow out in time and it's not an unpleasant smell by any means, just strong right now. If you're in doubt on how much to spray, start small as you can always use more spray later if needed. But this product 100% works to eliminate urine odor.

If this product is used properly on hard surfaces, it 100% eliminates cat urine odor. Simply clean up the urine, spray this foam over the area and let the foam dissipate and dry on its own, then mop the area well. All done. You can also use it to clean stinky litter boxes. The key is letting the foam do it’s work without disturbing it, and washing it off after its dry.I used the foam daily underneath a baseboard where urine had seeped underneath and dried, creating what I thought was a permanent, unfixable odor. After daily use until a full can was empty (about a month) the odor disappeared and never returned. I found this quite amazing as it wasn’t possible to absorb the urine first and then mop afterward. Eventually it did its thing without any human interference. It does not work as well on fabrics, but that’s to be expected because fibers hold onto odor compounds with a death grip.

Wow I am shocked! This stuff actually works. One of my cats randomly decided to pee in the corner of my living room on the carpet, and prior to me noticing, she continued using this corner repeatedly. I never saw a stain bc of the coloring of my beige carpet, but the smell was horrific and I scrubbed it clean and tried my typical stuff, but it was just too much there was no getting rid of the smell.I bought this stuff for the first time and read the can, it very specifically states that the product must penetrate the entire effected area in order to completely absorb the odor. So I did just that — the carpet I have is thick, and I know there’s an additional foam pad underneath so I SATURATED the corner of the living room. And I mean saturated. I used probably 95% of the can lol but I sprayed a good 3x3 foot section to make sure I got every single spot she went on. Well it’s been about 2 weeks now and still no odor whatsoever! This stuff really is a miracle! Highly recommend!

Had an issue with my male cat recently where he would pee in a certain area of the kitchen. This foam is STRONG. Open the doors and windows using it inside. You soak the area with the foam, wait at least 15 minutes, then you can clean up. The scent will last awhile but unlike other non enzyme cleaners when the scent goes after awhile the urine scent was also gone. It didn't just hide it, it eliminated it.If you want a similar result with a less strong scent, look for the same brand's orange enzyme cleaner. It's a lighter spray, we use both. The foam works best for set in stains (the brat got behind the washer where we couldn't see it) but both work great on fresh stains. I'd test a section of carpet for discoloration, we have hardwood so didn't have any issues.

I tried numerous other liquid spray products that ended up separating my wool rug from the backing and took days to dry with a fan directly on the rug. The scent of cat urine also lingered. Last ditch effort with this product. The foam is much easier to control without saturating the carpet. I did put product on the rug, took a small brush and scrubbed it and repeated on the matting. Dried within a day (with a fan on the rug) and once I vacuumed, the smell was gone. The scent is not overpowering and pleasant, and dissipated once dry and with continued vacuuming. My cat also did not go back to the area (or any area, since I lightly sprayed all over the carpet top and vacuumed) afterwards. I can’t speak about stain removal, since I removed the stain with carpet cleaner initially, but to eliminate the scent, this works very well.

Seemed to get the job done. The smell is entirely gone now

When my cat peed on my brand new soft guitar case, I had to find some way to save it. Cleaning with anything else wouldn't touch it. The case smelled so bad, it would stink up any room it was placed in. So I decided to get this stuff. Now, I cannot attest to the long term effects of this product. It may destroy the smell of cat pee. But at least in the short term, it creates a chemical odor so intense, so offensive, so much stronger than the cat pee that it will burn your nose hairs. I do not know if the smell subsides after time. I got rid of the case. I could not have it in my house. I don't know how people can use this stuff. It smells SOOO bad.

I used this on what was a water stain not even urine and its completed dyed my carpet. I'm so angry and upset I've now got to pay for brand new carpet as professional carpet cleaners can not even get it out. It's lightened the shade of the carpet and looks awful. Do not recommend
