Definitely looks like proper gauge,Soldering is fine,nice jacket too.As for fidelity I cannot comment I have nice equipment receiver and speakers etc......but not extremely high enough I would noticeAn audible difference.I suspect for price it's not going to fall into the Audiophile grade.Wayne

My only complaint is that I had to remove it from the box to untangle the wire. It came in a nice box that had a nylon grommet opening to pull the wire out as needed. After pulling about three feet of wire it stopped coming out. I opened the box to see why it stopped and found the wire was so twisted it would never pulled through the opening. I finely totally removed the bundle of wire and untwisted it as needed. The wire performance was as advertised. In the end it was a good purchase for my use.

I bought this to wire my new 5.1.4 surround sound, unfortunately I ran out of cable (I needed like 325ft). All of my speakers were in the wall and ceiling. It's a continuous 250 foot cable of decent thickness. It does state on the cable that it is CL2 rated for in-wall wiring. It was easy to pull through the ceiling and walls, the cable is not rigid at all. I am not an audiophile by any means but I didn't notice any issues with this cable. I didn't hear any feedback or distortions. I can turn my surround sound system way up and audio still comes out crystal clear through all the speakers. I even used this cable for my subwoofer and I can just barely hear a hum when I'm right next to it, not bad at all for a 50ft run (with lots of other cables too) and power coming from 2 different circuits. I searched a lot to find the best value for my money and this was it. It is CCA but it's still a great cable and I would buy it again.
