Mark the location and Drill the holes

Use hammer to put the anchors into holes and align the bottom part with the screw hole and tighten the screws

Tighten the inner hexagon screw with the hexagon wrench

Quality product and looks great. Very sturdy if installed properly. Do NOT use the included wall anchors, they will not hold the bar securely and will pull out of the wall. I changed to a more appropriate anchor and it the bar is now very secure.

The towel bar is very nice and simple. I actually bought these to hang up all of my beaded necklaces and bracelets. I adhered fabric around the bar to protect the jewelry. It worked great! The issue was the install. Do NOT use the anchors these towel bars come with. They are horrible and do not expand when the screw is affixed. The anchor and subsequently the screw are not secure against the wall, so when you install the bar to the mounting plate, the plate lifts from the wall and the bar does not stay in place. It is loose and slides up and down. Just use your own hardware (screw and anchor) and it will install nicely.

I wanted to write this review because someone else had a review that said they were not reversible without the setscrew showing. That is not true. You can turn the mount 180 degrees quite easily if you have this concern. You can easily see the bolt for doing that in the product pictures. I wouldn't take it all the way out as finding the hole again is a bit hard though.The color, sturdy, straightness of this item is great. Super easy to mount and very strong that it'll easily stay tight. Someone did mention the hardware in their review and I agree I don't like the plastic drywall anchors nor would I ever mount into drywall with that style. Pretty much nothing like this comes with better hardware so that is weird to add to a review.What I did though is took the bolt out and filed the tabs that lock it 180 degrees to hide the setscrew mentioned above. I then put 2 thrust bearings on each side of the mount and then mounted it under the cabinet so it can be rotated for better access while cooking or cleaning. This worked great and only took a few seconds. I'll be happy to use this for years.

Tip, tighten the screw fastening the base to the arm before mounting to wall bracket. Makes for a very solid towel holder.
