The large size fits well on my Sony A7iii with the Sigma 150-600 C. I can fully extend the lens and keep the included lens hood on and the rain cover is large enough to completely cover the lens and camera with a couple of inches to spare. The plastic window is plenty large enough to see my camera screen and even the controls on the battery grip that I often use with my camera.I would consider the large size to be the optimal size for my setup. Smaller would not do the job, and larger would provide too much extra material that would likely get in the way. The cover uses velcro to fit securely around the lens and camera. I may worry about the longevity of a velcro connection if I was using the cover all of the time, but realistically, I will probably only be putting it on my camera a few times a year so I'm not worried about it.I can't speak to how waterproof the material is yet. It feels kind of like the material you would find on an outdoor grill cover. Based on my initial impressions, I would expect it to fend off heavy rain for shorter durations, but I'm not entirely confident that it wouldn't start letting water through if you were spending all day out in rainy conditions. This is purely based on my gut impression from spending years outdoors in a variety of environments and conditions. I haven't had the opportunity to use the cover in a hard rain yet.Overall, I would consider this to be a good rain cover for the price, and I am happy with this product.

Ever since I had my camera destroyed in a rain forest downpour, I've been careful about my outdoor rain coverings for my photography equipment. I decided to try this Large size for my 300mm f/2.8 which I use to shoot a lot of youth sports. One park in particular rains a lot in the afternoon, so this one came in handy one day in the rain and wind. First of all, the lens end is very good, the velcro allows it to accommodate the large girth of the 300mm. I could leave the hood in the lens and wrap the raincover around it, which provided excellent protection for the lens. Now, you cannot go under this raincover wwith your head, basically your head is out in the rain (hopefully under a hat) and your hands are inside the cover, nice and dry for manipulating buttons and the shutter button. The backside has a clear oanel. which is clear enough but when rain is hitting it and the drainage from your baseball hat is hitting it, it is not the clearest thing to read. That is to day, you will be able to review pictures roughly under this thing, but not scrutinize them. There is also limited room to allow the camera to go from horizontal to vertical by manipulating the tripod under the raincover. All in all, about half off the famous name brand and works just as well.

It's a nicely built waterproof 'sleeve' that is built with adaptability in mind. It's basically one large piece of treated fabric with a 'window'.I can make it work on my 300mm f/2.8 but the length is way off.I can make it work on my Sony 200mm to 600mm...but the length is way off as well.No matter, the way this is designed, you just tighten up on the front of the lens with the cover, and the back hangs around like a small hideout for your head. Think of the old photography scenes in movies...the guy goes under the black cloth sort of thing. It works, but the 'window' will be useless unless you get just the right adjustments on the right lens. But for an 'all rounder...it works...but it could be cheaper.

This is a great little sleeve for camera shoots. Here in the Florida swamps this has been the difference in an animal fleeing when I pull up to take a photo or not paying me much attention. Lightweight and works with several lens configurations.

The one I got is L size, a little too long for 200mm, supposedly this is meant for 400mm lens, I have to fold it to make it works. The camouflage design is very considerate for wildlife photography. The see through windows for camera operation seems useful but I haven’t try it out if it actually works in the rain.

I got this rain cover to use with my Nikon Z7ii and 100-400mm lens. It is just the right length for this set up on my tripod. You can easily fit under the cover to protect your head from rain and see what you are shooting, as well as easily change the settings if necessary. It is basically a large flap of material with velcro along the outsides, so it is simple to install. Wrap the small end around your lens and fit the rest to whatever tripod or monopod you are using. It is well made and the plastic window is crystal clear. It can get a little foggy in humid conditions. The cover is reversible and has a brown pattern versus a green pattern on the other side. At the time of this review, there was a 20% coupon available making it $40, which I feel is a good price for a quality rain cover.

I managed to take the cover out in the rain recently (it's Britain, so didn't need to wait long!).The rain cover comes in its own little bag made of the same material, allowing for easy and compact storage. The camouflage is effective and being reversible offers some flexibility. The cover is easy to fit and is quite soft and silent during use. The velcro fasteners held well, in fact never needed adjusting during the time I was out despite frequent moving to new locations. The clear panel at the rear was good enough to review images on and there was plenty of room to allow free movement around the camera body. The cover provided more than enough room for my Canon EOS90D with Sigma 150-600mm Contemporary lens.Would I buy this again if needed? Without hesitation. It does the job very well, taking over an hour of moderate rainfall. Would I be daft enough to purposefully go out with my camera in the rain again? Probably not, but knowing I have an effective cover if the weather changes (it is Britain!) provides me with peace of mind.
