I'm a guitarist who decided "Why not learn to play banjo?" With several guitars, I've become picky with both the comfort and look of straps. I also like quality at a great price. This leather strap matches the one that came with my Nefelibata Guitar embroiderered cotton guitar strap. Folks at Nefelibata, THANK YOU for selling these extra straps individually! Cradle straps for resonator banjos go all the way around the resonator hooks. I thought the straps would work just as well - and they do! So, I now have a very comfy, very cool embroidered strap for my banjo. Plan A worked! The strap looks great with my Gold Tone Criple Creek resonator banjo. Since the banjo and strap look great, I look cool. Which is good, because I haven't learned to play it worth a darn yet.

I do not like tying off. Now if I need that strap for a different instrument. I can just unsnap it ,and off I go.

I have two ukuleles- the strap wouldn't fit on the uke I intended to use it on. The strings coming off the nut were too close to the head and the strap was too thick to pass under the strings. Luckily my second uke had strings that cleared high enough for the leather strap to pass under. Then, it was a real wrestling match trying to fit the metal strap button through both the leather strap and the doubled up strap. It'll be a while to see if the stiff leather strap interferes with my fret hand to determine if it's all worth it. Outside of all that it's a nice looking piece of leather and metal button.
