I melt lead down for fishing jig heads, and this is a hug time saver. I have large prices of lead and this makes the process much easier. The size of these molds are exactly what I was looking for. They are high quality and are well woth the money. They are durable and work great.

During the casting process, it helped me to successfully complete the production of various metal ingots. The mold design is very precise, the graphite material is resistant to high temperatures, and the heat conduction is uniform, so that the metal will not shrink or deform too quickly when cooling in the mold. These kits are very common, they are made of graphite so they won't last forever but they will give you plenty of use. Graphite is not very strong so these getting damaged will mostly be from getting hit or dropped. Overall this is a basic ingot kit, if you want something that will last longer then cast iron or metal ingots will be what you need but they are much more expensive.

Package came in a small box barely bigger than the product itself and was wrapped in any foam or marked with a fragile sticker, and the bag wasn’t closed so there’s graphite dust Leaking out. The edges of all the casting holes are beaten up looking already, the bottom surface of each hole is rough and porous.

I am impressed with the value of this set. The molds are durable and the stirring rod is also very good. This set can be used to cool large pieces of scrap metal solution, and can also be used to refine small items. The multi-shape and multi-functional set is really a great value for me.
