Reason to Choose Linear Drain
Installation - Easy to install is a hallmark of exact sized linear drains. To be more technical, they require the shower floor to be sloped in one direction toward the drain, instead of the center drain requires sloping the floor in four different ways toward the drain.

This linear floor drain matched perfectly with the brand name bathroom accessories I bought in brushed gold color for my bathroom remodel. The grate and hair strainer are easily removed for cleaning. It looks like it doesn't allow any hair to go down the drain, and that is a plus. My ceramic guy was a pro and easily installed it.

Doing a bath remodel and GC told me to order this Neodrain. It's amazing! Makes the shower look very chic and updated. So much better than those ugly drain holes in the middle of the shower floor. And so easy to clean anything stuck in the drain like long hair. Great buy!

I was hesitant at first since this was my first linear drain install. Everything went really well. The hardest part of the install was breaking the concrete slab to move the plumbing to where it needed to be. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. Make sure you get a drain base to install this linear drain onto. After you set the height in the center the adjustable feet level it out and support it for the mortar bed.The inset was easy to tile and then to install in the base. All in all I am super happy with the purchase and the price was awesome for the quality.I've added some pictures from the install so you can see the process.1) Set the drain base2) Do your initial mortar bed sloping to support the Neodrain feet3) Install your waterproof membrane to the weep holes on the drain base.4) Do your final mortar bed sloped to the drain. (Make sure you slope the mortar below the lip of the drain to accommodate your tile and thinset)5) Thinset your tile in place6) Grout and enjoy your new amazing linear drain shower!

Did not use it yet but it looks awesome. Installer was sure it is a super expensive drain.Update: we started to use it. This is a cleaning nightmare. All hairs are going down and accumulated in a tiny catcher. They are getting slimy and blocking the drain. (No pics of that, too graphic) Yep you have to remove the cover snd clean it. It smells fishy, well, the drain it is, what people do in the showers, it’s understood. So I ended up ordering a separate cover for it, same brand, but without a gap, removed the catcher - I don’t need it- I expect the new cover will stop most of hairs. Will see. I miss the look of the old one though. It was beautiful.

This is a nice modern shower drain. It comes with a filter that helps prevent hair from going down the drain.

Drain is of a great quality and definitely worth the price tag! Unfortunately it didn't work out for me because of the wrong joist run and slope side but nevertheless I was given the best customer service through the refund process.Color is a bit warmer gold (bronze gold) for the heads up however it is still a beautiful variation of gold.
