I ordered the1/4†thickness pad but was disappointed that the actual thickness was just 3/16â€. Also the foam itself is a little softer than normal neoprene rubber foam I have come to know. I had to double-stack the pads and used it to line the interior of a metal portable case to deadened the sound of the items moving inside when it is being carried for transport. So far two weeks had passed, the adhesive seemed to adhere well, I hope stays that way for a very long time.
