I always hated putting on a snorkel mask as the band in the back would snarl on my hair and pull. With these neoprene covers easy to Velcro on no hair being pulled and a bonus you can easily pick your mask out easily from the groups.

I can’t tell you how excited I was to find these on Amazon. I have been scuba diving since 1979, and have had a slap strap on my mask ever since they first came out. I bought a separate mask just for snorkeling and I hate the silicon strap. Slap Straps make wearing a mask so much more comfortable. No more hair pulling (a few years ago that mattered to me, it still does to my wife).All you do is open the hook and loop side, lay your mask strap flat inside, and then close it back up. That little bit of effort will greatly increase your comfort level. Trust me, after a day of diving or snorkeling, you will definitely feel the difference. Even for those that don’t have to worry about hair pulling, that little bit of extra padding on the back of your head makes a world of difference.The only reason I didn’t give these 5 stars is because other brands I’ve seen have sewn edges all the way around. These are not sewn on the smaller sides. I don’t think they will be as sturdy as the others. Other than that, they appear to be well made with quality neoprene. The hook and loop edge seals tightly. No matter which version you buy, you will love them.

This is my first time using an accessory like this and I must say that I've been missing out. I don't have long hair, but I do find the silicone straps of scuba/snorkeling masks can be uncomfortable. This device provides more cushioning and spreads out the pressure of the strap across a broader area.Pros:Easy to installComfortableCons:Adds more thickness to the strap, which can lead to a pinch if you're not careful about moving the strap looser a notch or two after installing this - especially if you're wearing a hoodBottom line: if you scuba or snorkel, I highly recommend these to increase your comfort and reduce hair pulling (if you have hair). At under $4 per unit in the 4-pack, they're an inexpensive investment.

These are pretty simple and are exactly what you expect them to be.The mask straps can be easily run through these. They're definitely more comfortable against your head and will make spending a lot of time wearing a mask easier. Especially if you have longer hair that tends to get caught in mask straps.These feel like the build quality is adequate. It's nothing amazing, but they'll do the job they're designed for. It's a good thing that they come in the package of 4 for sure.

I thought this was going to be the full adjustable strap. It is only a wrap that goes around the stock strap that comes with the mask. It still works to minimize pulling hair but not was well becuase there is still rubber above your ears. I would hold out for the full velcrow strap next time.
