Works great & the cats love it. Does make a slight hissy noise which one of the cats doesn't care for but I can easily turn it off/on to help with his tolerance of it. Takes a lot of hair out and gives a little cleaning too.

So, as others have said, this is definitely just a fine mister and not any actual steam (which, honestly, would probably not be terribly safe anyway as we don't want any chance of our kitties getting a steam burn). That said, it does give you a very nice, fine mist that helps to trap the shed fur onto the brush so it can be easily disposed of. Our cats don't mind the mist as long as they don't see it much - we can't use it anywhere near their heads but on their backs and sides is fine. Overall, we are finding that this works just as well as our other favorite brush but without us having to explicitly spritz the brush itself with water. It also seems like the bristles on this one are going to hold up better than the other one so that's a definite win.

I recently purchased this brush to use on my small pups. It is easy to use and the steam lasts long enough to brush both of them. It does a nice job to spruce them up between groomings. Not sure how it would work on bigger dogs or ones with lots of thick fur, but on small dogs or cats, its great. Recommend!

While this is touted as a steambrush it only looks like steam - it's really only water vapor that looks like steam. As far as a brush, it is, and, indeed, it is a rather good one. I've used it several times now and find that the soft, flexible plastic brush probes do "grab" loos hair from our cat leaving the remaining, not loose hair, smooth and even. It is also easy to remove the hair from the brush in hunks in the case of our long haired cat.

Product works as intended, easy to use. I brushed my 2 boy cats and they were purring so loudly. One cat was a little hesitant about the mist at first but I just turn off after a few seconds and continue brushing. Fur is removed easily from brush after a decent amount was collected.

Gets a lot of hair, love it. The steam sound freaks my cat out so can’t use that feature. I would have liked to see how effective this brush is with steam but alas, it’s not to be. Regardless, it works great without it.

My cats love being brushed finally and they smell great afterwards. Added bonus all the shedding fur is captured and not flying in the room.

Turns on, no mist at all. Even after plugged in for an hour and tried with a different cord.
