Perfect for your nest thermostat if you are replacing an old square thermostat that's been painted around. I actually used this for the basic nest thermostat, for which it is not intended. I just had to drill holes in the backing to accommodate the thermostat bracket. The circumference of the basic nest thermostat is a little less as well, so it does not comoletely fill out the inner circle. Not a big deal to me. Good value and also printable. Easy to install.

This wall plate looks great. It is a little larger of a rectangle than what we thought it would be. It is bright white, almost light blue in color. It gives the thermostat a nice finish look.

NO, this WILL NOT FIT for your Nest thermostat! I went through all the trouble of finding my circuit breaker, trying to get the wires unhooked and my drill ready to go and when I went to put this cover on the wall, I see it doesn't line up with the holes! There are 2 holes in your Nest thermostat wall bracket that you screw to the wall. This also has two holes BUT they are TOO FAR APART. By about a 1/2 inch or so. And the holes on both this bracket and the nest bracket don't line up - there's no way to bolt this to the wall without it looking like garbage. You'd have to drill new holes in the plastic or something - the nest itself is smaller than the round space here on this thing. It would look dumb even if I got it up.-Save yourself the trouble - buy the legit Nest cover plate instead. This one is garbage.

Not only looks great but also effectively conceals a rather large hole located behind the thermostat. The color match is flawless, and it doesn't interfere with the thermostat's performance in heating or cooling the house at all. It was super easy to put in place.

As a HVAC technician this is one of the worst setups I’ve ever seen from Google. This thermostat requires you to set up and adjust any settings through the app only, which means if the customer/home owner isn’t home you can not do anything to work on the device.

When it comes to dimensions and shape, this cover is far superior to the actual name brand one. The base of my old thermostat was pretty wide. But this cover, with its good width and height, covered up all the paint - job flaws left behind.
