Completely replace my old air tank storage shredder valve which had plastic valve dial broken (135 psi relief valve). Material need for this job. 1/2 to 1/4 bushing, 1/4 5-way tee, 1/4 quick air disconnect, 1/4 male air connector (npt), 1/4 shutoff valve. 1/4 tee, 1/4 nipple (bushing to tee), 1/4 post gauge (160 psi) and tire shredder valve.

I was replacing the safety valve on an old 1980’s Craftsman air compressor that was actually made by Devilbliss. The old valve was popping at 125psi.The new one seems to work fine.I didn’t try to test the new one by putting 135+ psi on it as its an old compressor and I’m afraid to push the tank too hard.Installing the new valve I noticed the new safety valve is also made by the same manufacturer as the old 40+ year old one that I pulled off the compressor.
