Installed this, it turned out the problem was with the shut-off pressure switch so I know for a fact that it works the way it is supposed to.

My compressor automatically shuts off at 130lb. So at first I bought a relief valve that was set to blow off at 135lb. It must have been faulty because the valve would blow off at 125lb. So I returned it and got this valve. So far, so good. The air pressure reaches the 130lb automatic shut off set point without blowing off.

This pressure relief slightly leaks/simmers at about 140PSI, exceed 140 and you can hear it really leaking. 145 it pops. Will not get to 150 without letting go. 135PSI seems to be the sweet spot.

It won't hold pressure. It leaks down to 110 psi.
