There is something to be said for buying the real deal. There are a number of knock offs offered here on Amazon. Don't bother with them. This tool is well made and beautifully finished. All of the edges are clean & smooth. Not a sharp edge to be found. All that translates into a tool that is easy to carry, easy to use, and does it's job.

This is actually my second purchase of this tool! I thought I lost my first and immediately ordered another! I found my original before this one even arrived! The cheap knockoffs are flimsy and not finished and as well designed as this one! Get the real deal. If you work any type of service job plumber/hvac (like me) electrician whatever where your always getting locked out of mechanical rooms and closets this is the tool you need!

This product does not work as it says it does. It is hard to maneuver, and there's certain situations that this product will not work with.

If the door is fairly loose, this little thing works great. I struggled on tighter doors.

This will not work if you are on the jam side of the door so it useless. when on the non jam side of the door it works less than 25% of the time and that's only off the door gap is huge and the striker is exposed. I fell for it, I hope you don't

This product is listed as being Manufactured by Firefighting Tools of Babylon Corp, which is an American company that displays this as an American made product. When this arrived the package clearly states made in China, they even spell Corp incorrectly, unless it’s on purpose to sell inferior products. I don’t mind paying more for quality made American products, but this is not worth the value. It’s also very scuffed up like it has been used.
