Shipped and and arrived very quickly. Well packed and everything appears well made.I didn't realize until it arrived that no o-ring is included. My fault for not looking more closely. I should have ordered separately so I'd have everything I need to get started.I'll update after installation to report results.

This repair 'kit' was not a complete repair kit. Anytime you do this repair, you need to replace the o-rings. Not replacing the o-rings is like brushing your teeth without toothpaste. Selling this repair kit without o-rings is like selling a tooth brushing kit that only includes the toothbrush and not mentioning that toothpaste isn't included...or selling a car, but not including the wheels and tires. It is just common sense to include these in a kit. I feel the description of this product wasn't completely truthful. If I would have read that no o-rings were not included, I doubt I would have bought this kit.If they had stated that no o-rings were included, which are absolutely necessary to do this repair, I would have at least had the opportunity to buy them. Instead I am left with the choice of finding the proper o-rings or returning this kit and buying one that does include them.

It really works. I got a used alternator after the one in my 2001 740i died, but it didn't last but a few months. This rebuilt has been going strong for over a year now.
