The 9-12month fits more like a generous 12 or maybe even 12-18month. The material is middle of the road on quality and softness. Definitely not cheapo but not luxuriously soft. The colors are nice, I got the pink and they are just like the photos a nice baby pink. The zippers work fine and I haven't had any trouble with the snaps. Nothing shrunk after being run through the washer and dryer but I dry on a medium-low setting. It's a pretty nice set not an amazing deal but if you keep in mind the slightly inaccurate sizing it's still a good buy.

My son-in-law washed & dried the set and it all came out perfect! No shrinkage. My daughter loves this set.
