We have looked everywhere for shorts for my 12 year old son to wear for gymnastics. Usually they are too long and cause him to get hung on the bars. These are just right and still modest enough not to be embarrassed.

Runs so super small. Used the weight for sizing and even sized up. It’s functional... but with no room to spare for breathing or growth. And they are definitely shorty shorts. Good thing he’s too young to know they look girly.

My son is 9 and I usually buy a large in gymnastics shorts since they are so short. He’s small..65lbs with a 24 inch waist. I bought these in a large and he could barely get them on. They fit like a small..way too small for a large. Made for a toddler. Even the extra large would be too small. Not at all comparable to other gymnastics brands.
