Works great just as it should starter spins fast now...only thing was the holes on the mounting bracket the bracket is not wide enough to get both mounting bolts back in but 1 bolt holds it in place fine....purchased for 1991 40hp mercury outboard

Works well and comes with spade connector adapters and plastic cover for copper studs. Bracket holes did not line up with old relay, so i recommend measuring before you order, or just being prepared to drill an extra hole

started boat fine first time out on lake, went to start again...failed completely. would have been stranded on lake if it wasn't for fact I had a screwdriver I could bridge the contacts and jump start it. not happy. buy OEM

It sticks, so not very usefull

The very first time I used it after installing, it stuck and kept turning the starter over until I smacked it with a screw driver. I’m probably going to replace it with a oem quality solenoid.
