Ordered not sure if it was the drive i needed. But it arrived quickly 1 screw and it letuarly took 60 seconds to install, works great i could not be happier with this purchase. And would recommend this company to anyone.

This seems to be a direct replacement for the original drive on my Dell laptop. It is much faster than the external drive I bought to replace it. However, the faceplate (or whatever it's called) has also come loose just like the original, but it still works. I did not make an issue of it with the vendor, since it seems to be a problem with Dell (at least the 2 I had). However, I use my drive A LOT so casual users may never use it enough to have a problem.Be very careful when you order a replacement drive since not all drives are interchangeable. Make sure you are buying one explicitly for your model of laptop. I didn't. The vendor worked with me to get the exact replacement, but it took a couple of weeks and a return to get things right.

Works fine except, not an exact physical size of original DELL DVDRW, but it works fine.
