Bought this to replace a worn out battery that was not holding a charge any longer. The old battery was a 500mah nickel cadmium. This new one is a 600mah nickel metal hydride. It's working fine. It is new so how long it works and how long a full charge lasts is yet to be determined but so far so good. It would have been less expensive to buy a lot of two or three but I only needed one for now so the price was fair. AND it arrived a day earlier than promised so that was a plus. The product is good so far and we would buy from this seller again. K

I have a Uniden cordless phone system which I've had for DECADES. One of the handsets suddenly stopped working and I noticed the battery was dead and would no longer accept a charge.I looked at the model number on the dead battery and was happy to see that Amazon sold a replacement for little money.I received the battery, opened the handset and installed it, and BOOM, my phone was back in working order, the handset held the charge for days without needing to be put back on the cradle.I especially liked finding this battery because the phone has been discontinued for years, I liked it and feared I'd have to purchase a whole new system.Amazon saved me with this battery.

Seems to work fine in our Uniden cordless phones. However, it didn't immediately fit because the wires come straight out of the side and interfered with the casing (the original come out the top to one side). I had to nip the covering about an 1/8" to pull the wires to the battery top. I also twisted the wire together which allows them to curl inside the case better, same as with the original. Hoping the NiMH remain stronger than the NiCd did.

Works perfectly. Not 100% sure that this is a genuine OEM battery but it works just fine. The original battery doesn’t say Uniden on it either so maybe it is the original manufacturer.
